In 1975 the first Brazilian closed residential land urban development, the Terras de São José, was created within the historical city of Itu.

It's locate only 50 minutes from São Paulo with access through the Castelo Branco and Bandeirantes Highways, privilege double roads, and between the progressive triangle constituted by Campinas, Sorocaba and Jundiaí, the most growing up region in Brazil.
